Soccer Time

Beau had his first soccer practice and game on Sunday afternoon. He is on the navy blue under 4 team. He is one of the youngest kids on the team, but he had so much fun playing with his team. Saturday morning Rodney took Beau and Joseph shopping to get soccer stuff while I shopped at Kids Market. They picked out soccer socks, shin guards, a soccer ball, and soccer shoes. Beau wanted a pink soccer ball, but Rodney convinced him to get a blue and silver one instead. Here are a few pictures of his first practice/game:

Getting a pep talk from Daddy before practice starts

Ready...

Running...

Kicking a Goal! He scored the first goal of the game! :)

A Team huddle with the coach...God Bless Him...the kids could focus for about 30 seconds at a time (including Beau...he enjoyed running..at all times...even if the game was still going on, he was running around the field, at times, not even by the ball or the team, just running wild and having a blast!

What a Big Boy!

I could not get this picture to flip the right way, but I didn't want to leave it out. This is Beau practicing on Saturday night before the game....he is wearing his bath robe with his shin guards and soccer shoes (or shin "gardens" as Beau likes to call them)

Pictures of the 4 of us

These are some of the shots we picked from our newborn photo session of Joseph. We had a photographer come to the house and take them when Joseph was a few weeks old. He is wearing a 3-6 month outfit and it is a little snug...he loves his milk. :) Beau loved the pictures, and enjoyed getting m&m's after the shoot was over. Enjoy!

Baby Boy is 2 months old

Joseph turned 2 months old on March 1st. It has been a crazy month weather wise....warm, icy, snow, warm, rainy, etc. We will be so glad to have consistently warm weather where we can play outside!

Joseph is a big boy! He is weighing in around 14 pounds and is 25 1/2 inches long at 9 1/2 weeks old....seriously, none of his onesies will fit in length. He will just have to wear t-shirts and shorts or large sized shortall outfits this summer. He is such a cutie and his personality is really starting to come out. He is trying to "talk" to us and smiles a lot. He also knows how to really fuss when he does not get his way. :)

Beau is so excited to have a little brother. He likes to tell Joseph everyday that he is taller than him. Beau asks all the time when he can get bunk beds in his room for he and Joseph to sleep in. He also wants a car where he and Joseph can both ride in the front seat. I told him that they are not old enough for that yet. Somedays I think, Time please slow down and let my babies stay little forever. Other days, I am really looking forward to the boys being older and being able to eat lunch without changing diapers, whining toddlers, etc.

Life really has been pretty boring around our house the past month. We have played outside and with friends as much as possible when the weather has been nice, other than that, we have been inside. My house has never looked like such a disaster zone!
Thank goodness for lots of kids in the neighborhood because around 5 every afternoon we go outside and play until the daddies all come home. :)

Beau loves to get in the baby gym with Joseph...he is showing me a piece to a train....he is a touch obesessed with anything dealing with trains or construction

Bath time!
