A Weekend Full of New Things

This weekend was a weekend of new things for Beau.............

Beau got to get in his exersaucer and played for the first time on Sunday. He had such a good time checking things out!

Beau also got to taste yummy rice cereal for the first time on Sunday at lunch.

He is checking it out before Dad fed it to him

Yummy!

He may like the spoon just as much as the cereal!

And most importantly, Beau got to go to Auburn for the first time this weekend. Mom, Dad, Beau, and 3 out of 4 grandparents traveled to Auburn. (The 4th grandparent is an Alabama fan) In Auburn, Beau got to see lots of family and friends. He had a great time seeing the Plains and all the people. He is definitely a people watcher. He also got to experience the wind blowing in his face for the first time....he was not really a fan of that. But, overall, we all had a great time. War Eagle!

Morning Fun

Morning time seems to be Beau's favorite time of day. He gives us a huge smile when we get him out of his crib in the mornings. He is ready to laugh, talk, and play! He loves to play with Dad before Dad goes to work. Dad can make him laugh better than anyone else can.

These are just a few pictures of our mornings over the weekend.....
Mom and Beau in thier bathrobes

Beau played so hard he had to take a nap

He wants to read Fuzzy Bee and Friends

Checking out the "horses" on the mobile. (We are unsure what some of the animals are on the mobile)

Laughing and talking to the "horses" on the mobile

The above 2 pictures most accurately show how Beau is dressed at home....diaper and socks...normally a bib is not far away either!

4 month Check Up

We went to the Dr. on Tuesday for our 4 month check up. Beau was doing great! He is 24 1/2 inches long, so he has grown 4 inches in 4 months. He was born weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces and yesterday he weighed 15 pounds and 15.5 ounces...so almost 16 pounds. Our Dr. said "He's a little chubbo!" He is a cute chubbo for sure!

Beau loves to watch what is going on around him now. He loves to read and play and laugh. He is trying to flip over, but has not quite mastered that skill yet. It is hard to believe he is already 4 months old!

Playing with my favorite toy...the rings

I thought this picture was so funny! We were going for a morning walk and it was chilly, so we put a pooh hat on Beau.

War Eagle!!

We watched the Auburn v. Arkansas game with family this weekend. Beau had a great time hanging out with all the ladies in the family!

The Past 3 months

Rodney and I welcomed our Baby boy, Beau into the world on June 9th at 8:43 a.m. We never thought our new wake up time would be 6:30, even on the weekends! but, we could not imagine our life without little Beau in it.

There have been many milestones over the past 3 months...his first smile, his first belly laugh, the first time he held his own head up, and of course, the first time he slept through the night!
